TaP 2025 is organised by LENS partner IFPEN and will take place from 4-6 November 2025 at their headquarters at Rueil-Malmaison. The suburb of the French capital will be the home for various discussions during which experts from around the world will gather to share the latest scientific and technical advances in the study of transport impacts, with for the first time a focus beyond the air quality to also consider noise, soil and water. Further announcements about the potential involvement of LENS will be announced closer to the event.

Topics

For over two decades, TAP International Conferences have focused on emissions from transportation and their impact on air quality, covering a range of critical topics.

Sessions will continue to cover essential topics, including new emission control concepts, measurement (among which remote sensing), decarbonization, non-exhaust emissions and new worldwide regulations.
This year, we are pleased to put emphasis on two focal themes:

Assessment and modeling of emissions, fate and trends

  • Measurement campaigns, emission factors, impact of usage conditions
  • Exhaust and non-exhaust emissions from tire and brake
  • Primary and secondary aerosols and contribution to their formation
  • Regulated and non-regulated pollutants with a significant impact on air quality and health

Comprehensive Environmental and social impacts of transports

  • Scope extended beyond air quality, considering all forms of induced impacts (air, water and soil pollution, noise, etc.)
  • Environmental and Social Life Cycle Analysis
  • CO2 footprint of remediation solutions
  • Mobility management, role of digitalization and big data
  • Innovative digital tools and methodologies as decision-making tools
